Toshihiko Seki began his journey at the young age of fifteen when he took a job at Sushi Restaurant in Tokyo, which was owned and operated by his uncle. Toshi learned from his uncle for 5 years, and he moved to San Diego, CA. After learning all he could, and conquering the west coast he decide to set his sites on the east coast. Toshi took a position at the prestigious Azuma Sushi in New York. Azuma Sushi was a very well known traditional sushi house catering primarily to a private Japanese audience. While at Azuma Sushi, Toshi and the restaurant earned a five star rating from the New York Times.

In 1997, Toshi decided it was finally time to open his own restaurant. Toshi`s Japanese Restaurant in Connecticut has delighted sushi lovers from all over the states. Toshi was rated Excellent and number one Japanese Restaurant in the Connecticut from Zagat Survey.

After the success of Toshi`s Japanese Restaurant, he was back to CA, and started his own private professional sushi catering. Toshi  prides himself on serving only the freshest and highest quality pieces of sushi available for customers, to leave you completely satisfied.  One of the many benefits of sushi catering is that Toshi is able to introduce authentic traditional Japanese Sushi to his customers, and have a great experience together. Toshi understand customers well and what they enjoy. This enables Toshi to constantly create new rolls and ideas for his customers. His creativity is unparalleled and his presentation is consistently exquisite. Just one try will prove this!
